Visitors move inside the sensing field and wait for the arm to answer late.

System response

The arm transforms presence into lag, hesitation, and mechanical misrecognition.

Process notes

  • Map proximity and gesture into mechanical states.
  • Use delay as expressive behavior instead of error.
  • Tune movement so the system feels responsive but never obedient.
